Ultrasonic extraction uses a frequency range from 16 KHz to 100 KHz and requires a liquid medium that allows the ultrasonic wave to reach the plant product.
The ultrasound technology allows the complete extraction of the plant material, preserving the integrity of all the molecules contained in the plant, whether they are flickering, thermostable, water-soluble or fat-soluble.
A stable mixture of the total molecules contained in the plant cell is thus obtained in a few minutes.
Generally the estation is more efficient with a preventive grinding of the plant material, subsequently kept in suspension for the entire duration of the extraction cycle with a slight agitation.
The ultrasonic extraction allows a considerable reduction in production times as the ultrasounds, breaking the cell walls, reduce the transfer times of the active ingredients. It is possible to obtain a liter of macerate in just 15 minutes.
