MW10 Photometer

Portable Photometer for Free Chlorine : range: 0.00 to 2.50 mg/L of Cl2, accuracy: 3% of reading.
Supplied in a cardboard box including 2 cuvettes, reagents and instruction manual.

The new revolutionary range of Milwaukee photometers are compact and easy to handle, have a modern design, and are used to measure free Chlorine (MW10), Total Chlorine (MW11) , Phosphate (MW12), Iodine (MW13) and Iron (MW14).
Its main advantages are its small size and the ease of immediate measurement.
In a few minutes you will have the result on the LCD display while the instrument directly shows you the concentration of the specific component in ppm.
The tool automatically turns off after 2 minutes of inactivity to prolong battery life.

By adding specific reagents, the water sample has a degree of coloration that is proportional to the concentration of the measured parameter.
This coloration photometer measures how, by passing a beam of light through the sample, it produces energy with a specific wavelength that is absorbed by the substance (sample), the photometer measures the coloration of the sample by measuring the transmission or absorption of light at that wavelength.
The photometer uses a microprocessor to calculate the concentration and present the results on the screen.

The field of application is very broad and includes agriculture, drinking water analysis, aquariums, swimming pools or fish farming .
