Specific lamp for SARS-COV-2
LEDUVICA is a 277 nm UV-C LED germicidal UV lamp , capable of modifying the DNA/RNA of microorganisms (viruses, bacteria, fungi, pathogens), inactivating their ability to replicate; unique among UV-C lamps, this LED photodegrades the spike protein, the key to accessing molecules, limiting the risk of Sars-Cov-2 contagion. The LEDUVICA germicidal lamp is tubular in shape (27.5 cm long), made of aluminum, equipped with 6 UVC LEDs (not visible) and 2 blue status LEDs that highlight its activation.
UV-C radiation inactivates viruses and germs in doses related to their concentration, which in the air can be up to 100 times lower than the concentration present in infected sputum droplets, and despite this, it is the primary vehicle of contagion.
The low aerosol concentration allows for excellent results in a short time, even in small to medium-sized environments, in the absence of people and animals. It can sanitize air in minutes and surfaces in hours. Installed in multiple cooperating units, it can sanitize rooms, halls, and large spaces quickly.
At a distance of 2-3 m from the lamp, surface sanitization occurs in a few hours, but a few minutes are enough to sanitize the air, making the most of even short exposure times. Exposure has an integral effect (both to the infection and to UV-C), and sanitization, even if suspended, resumes at the current level and continues to reduce the viral load over time.
UVC TUBOLAR LEDs help sanitize surfaces and air but are not an alternative to the hygiene and social distancing regulations required by current anti-COVID-19 decrees.
It is an easy and safe lamp to install, it is effective and fast, it is ecological (non-toxic), economical, low impact, easy to install, integrate and couple with motion sensors and/or timers, it is powered by 12V, consumes less than 8W, covers approximately 15m3-volume, 6m2-surface.
Liquid and spray products for sanitizing environments, including medical and surgical products, are also available in our store.
The diagrams below indicate the percentage of sanitization obtained with 1 or 2 lamps for generic points S at a distance z, in a time t (for z1 different from z2 the times are further reduced).
Using two opposing LEDUVICA germicidal lamps L1 and L2, the radiation at points P along their axis is almost uniform and is equal to approximately 8 times the value that would be obtained at the distance d (between the walls) with a single lamp.
Point S is at a distance z = z1+z2; with a single lamp z = z1 or z = z2.
The LEDUVICA Germicidal Lamp has an effective cone of over 90° and covers from ceiling to wall; it can be rotated 360° around its axis; and operates at low voltage.
