CK 835 Laser Thermometer with K attachment and ambient temperature probe

LASER THERMOMETER -50 + 1370 o C

Professional Laser Thermometer able as well as to measure the

The 835 Thermometer is a professional infrared ray instrument, it is equipped with a K attachment, and a temperature probe already supplied,
For penetration measurements it must be equipped with a special probe.

Theory of Emissivity and IR Measurement:

IR thermometers measure the surface temperature of an object. The optics of the luminaire perceive the emitted, reflected and transmitted energy.
The electronics of the appliance translate the information into a temperature value which is then displayed on the LCD display.
The amount of IR energy emitted by an object is proportional to its temperature and its ability to emit energy.
This ability is known as emissivity and is a function of the material of the object and its surface finish. Emissivity range values range from 0.1 for a highly reflective object to 1.00 for a smooth black surface finish.

Measurement operation:

Hold the tool by its handle and point it at the surface to be measured.
Press and hold the trigger to turn the meter on and run the test. The display will turn on if the battery is in good condition. Replace the battery if the display does not turn on.
Release the trigger and the HOLD display icon will appear on the LCD indicating that the reading is on hold. In the HOLD state, press the UP button to turn the laser on or off. And press the bottom button to turn on or off the backlight.
The tool will automatically turn off approximately 10 seconds after releasing the trigger.

Note: measurement considerations :

Holding the meter by the hand, aim the IR sensor at the object whose temperature is to be measured. The instrument automatically compensates for temperature deviations from ambient temperature. Bearing in mind that it will take up to
30 minutes to adapt to wide ambient temperatures to be measured followed by high temperature measurements, it takes some time (several minutes) after the low (and before the high) measurements are made.
This is the result of the cooling process, which must take place for the IR sensor.

Safety:

Use extreme caution when turning on the laser beam.
Do not let the beam enter your eye, another person's eye, or an animal's eye.
Be careful not to let the beam on a reflective surface strike your eye
Do not let the laser light beam hit any gas which may explode.

IR Measurement Notes

1. The object under measurement must be larger than the spot size
(lens) calculated with the visual field diagram (printed on the side
of the appliance and included in this guide.)
2. Before measuring, be sure to clean surfaces covered with ice, oil,
dirt, etc.
3. If the surface of an object is highly reflective, apply masking tape or paint
dull black on the surface before measuring. Give some time to the paint or the
masking tape to match the temperature of the surface they are covering.
4. Measurements through transparent surfaces such as glass may not be
precise.
5. Steam, dust, smoke, etc. can obscure the measurements.
6. The device compensates for any deviations in the ambient temperature.
However, the appliance may take up to 30 minutes to adjust to changes
significant ambient temperature.
7. To find a hot spot, point the appliance away from the affected area and make a
scan (in an up-and-down motion) until the
hotspot.
