Dear customer, the recent provisions introduced by the Ministerial Decree 65/2010 will allow, when buying a new electrical or electronic products, to deliver a free obsolete object having the same functions (for example: against mobile phone, mp3 against mp3, camera against the camera, etc ...).
Televisions, refrigerators, mobile phones, hair dryers and many other abandoned household appliances will be managed by distributors, installers and operators of the centers of technical assistance under the new rules established by Ministerial Decree of 8 March 2010, n. 65.
In particular, from June 18, 2010 triggers an obligation on distributors (retailers) to collect free electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) disposed of at the time of delivery of new equipment destined for a single household, provided that the old EEE is of equivalent type and has fulfilled the same functions as that supplied.
The DM 65/2010 provides for the withdrawal activity, grouping and transport of WEEE (domestic and / or professional) by:
distributors
installers and operators of service centers of electrical and electronic equipment (EEE)
as well as activity-transport of WEEE by:
transporters third parties acting on behalf of distributors.
These activities involve compliance with
technical conditions for the pool and transport of WEEE, and
administrative tasks, such as the registration in the national environmental managers and maintenance of specific records.
